Wheat Free Recipes and Menus by Carol Fenster, Ph.D.
The subheading for this book is "Delicious, Healthful Eating for People with Food Sensitivities." It's right. These recipes are delicious from the decadent and surprisingly easy cinnamon rolls to the Corn Waffles these recipes work.
At the beginning of the book the author provides recipes for flour blends that don't always use your traditional rice flour as base. There are corn/sorghum, bean, and rice blends, of which all are great.
Our favourite recipe is the Waffles. Easy, light, fluffy and deeelicious. The recipe calls for buttermilk but the author suggests you can easily use rice, or soy as an alternative.
Bonus is a two week gluten free dinner menu plan. Always a help when inspiration is absent.
This is a must have if you are living with gluten sensitivities or allergies.
