Brain Building Spicey Beet, Carrot, Apple Juice



After reading about the benefits of beet juice for the brain, I figured I had better add a tasty recipe! This one offers more than just the brain building benefits of beets, it also adds the healing properties of carrot, apple and ginger. Enjoy! If you use one of each you'll get a different flavour every time. You can use one small beet and one large carrot and one medium apple or you can use one medium beet, one small carrot and one large apple. Each blend/size will provide a different flavour. As veggies vary in size, depending on the season, go ahead and get creative with whatever you have on hand. Especially if it's from your own garden....mmmmmm!

1 small beet

1 large carrot

1 medium apple

1/2 inch piece of ginger root

Wash veggies and put through juicer. Use pulp in muffins, soups or stews. You can also freeze the pulp for use at a later time.
